Registrations of Aliens

The Government reserves the right to conduct campaigns to register of all aliens in the country. This is often carried out to identify the number of internationals in the country and ‘regularising’ their stay in South Sudan. All Foreigner are often required to visit designated points and have their documents verified. The process if often done with no fee. Communications on this campaigns is often aired out through local media and circulars.

What are the NGO Recruitment Guidelines

The NGO Recruitment Guidelines is a Ministry if /Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development (MoLPS&HRD) guidance document that provides practical steps and requirements fir recruitment of workers in the NGO Sector.

The guidelines provide NGOs and relevant government Institutions with detailed guidance on how to how to conduct recruitment process based on legal principles as well as NGO principles. The  guidelines are to help all those involved and concerned with the NGOs, National and State Ministries and relevant government institutions.

Fingerprinting at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID)

All visitors are required to have their fingerprints taken with the nearest Criminal Investigation Department (CID) offices within 1 week of arrival to the country.  Whilst the current practice is fingerprints collection when applying for work permits, members are asked to review their processes to fulfil this requirement.

Work Permits
