- Have a full-time presence in South Sudan.
- Complete the online NGO Forum registration form by following this link: http://southsudanngoforum.org/membership/registration/
- Provide documentary evidence of registration with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) and comply with any other registration required by the Government of South Sudan.
- Prospective members that meet the criteria will then be reviewed by the respective Steering Committee (i.e. INGOs Steering Committee or NNGOs Steering Committee). The respective Steering Committee will then recommend the prospective member to the wider Country Director’s or National Director’s Group for approval by a simple two-thirds (2/3) majority of members in attendance; with a quorum of no less than 20 members.
- The decision of acceptance, or rejection, will be communicated in writing to the applicant organisation by the NGO Secretariat.
- Pay membership fees, due within the first two months of each calendar year. Membership fees for NNGOs are set at USD 50 and for INGOs are according to the fee scale. (INGOs members who join the Forum at a midpoint of any calendar year will have the fee prorated for the remaining months of that year).
